Master Brentley Thomas Powers was welcomed into heaven Wednesday evening, January 20, 2016. He was three months old.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in McColl with Rev. Robert Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
Brentley was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Strickland and his maternal grandfather, Tommy Freeman.
To cherish his memory Brentley leaves behind his parents, Jimmy O. Strickland, Jr. and Ashley Marie Powers of McColl; a brother, Ethan Everett Powers and a twin sister, Brenley Faith Powers; his maternal grandmother, Faye Freeman; his paternal grandmother, Linda Herring, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and loved ones. He will be missed.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence for the tender love and care of Brentley and his family. Their kindness makes the world a better place.
