Mr. Charles Evans Johnson, 47, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the McColl Church of God officiated by the Rev. Dr. Roy Puckett.  Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the McColl Church of God.

Born, August 13, 1967 in Marlboro County, SC he was son of Walker Evans and Elizabeth Williams Johnson.  Mr. Johnson attended McColl Church of God, and worked in construction. Charles was a good hearted man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Walker Evans Johnson, and Elizabeth Williams Johnson of McColl; a daughter, Rebecca Lois Johnson of McColl; a brother, Keith Evans Johnson (Tammy) of Bennettsville; a sister, Gloria Brown of High Point, NC; and grandchild, Jayse Barfield of McColl; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
