  Mr. Clarence William Huggins, age 45, passed away on April 15, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

  Born in Marlboro County, SC, on November 7, 1969, he was the son of Ezal Lee Lowery Huggins and the late Clarence Huggins. He was a maintenance worker with Umicore in Maxton, NC and was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Holiness faith.  He was a graduate of Clio High School and  enjoyed playing cornhole, fishing, joking and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a very likable and an easy going person.

  He is survived by his son, James Ray Newton of Clio; his mother, Ezal Lee Huggins of Clio; brothers, Clarence Lee Huggins (Mary) of Clio and Aaron J. Huggins (Gloria) of Clio; a sister-in-law, Donna Kay Huggins; an uncle and aunt, Floyd and Betty Lowery of Clio; nephews, Kevin Lee Huggins, Patrick Neil Huggins and Aaron Huggins, Jr.; nieces, Meghan Brooke Huggins and Adrian Elizabeth Huggins; and a great-niece, Adrianna Elizabeth Huggins.

    Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Daniel's Chapel Holiness Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 2-3 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
