Donald Scott

Mr. Donald Scott, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2018 at Eastside Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Donald Deal.  Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.

Born April 4, 1944 in McColl, SC, Donald a son of the late Thomas B. & the late Aggie Johnson Scott.  He worked several years with J P Stevens in Wagram.  Donald enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with his family and friends or in a pair of bib overalls fishing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: wife of 53 years, Mary Ward Scott of the home; daughters, Lynn White & husband Michael, Brenda Barfield & husband Stevie all of McColl, Mary Ann Scott of Laurinburg, NC, Kathy Taylor & husband Tony of Hartsville; brother, Thomas H. Scott of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Betty Miller & husband Ralph of Ft. Deposit, MD; grandchildren, Donna L. Scott, Sierra B. Locklear, Brian Barfield, Tia Whitewater, Brett M. Scott, Tanner Bowers; great-grandchildren, Diego P. Scott, Sequoia Wright, Kierrah Wright, Jase B. Shepherd, Cameron Shepherd, Ashton D. Smith, Bailey S. Parrish; special friends, Walt Kubas, & Carl Lester Thomas.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, John Michael White.

The family receive friend 6:00 to 8:00 Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home.
