Jimmie "Lib" Elizabeth (Gaddy) Selby

Jimmie Elizabeth “Lib” Gaddy Selby, 84, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by members of her loving family.

Born October 10, 1933 in Blenheim, SC, she was a daughter of the late James and Frances Crowley Gaddy. She was a former Inspector with Hanes Hosiery in Bennettsville. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in McColl. She was an out going and friendly person who loved her family especially her niece and nephews. She enjoyed shopping at Belks and on QVC. Mrs. Lib loved being on her porch.

Mrs. Lib is survived by her sister, Linda Sue Eyestad of McColl; brothers, Curtis Gaddy of Bennettsville and David Gaddy of McColl; Niece, Cindy Elaine Gaddy Parrish of surfside Beach; nephew, Rodney Christian Eyestad of Florence; great nephew Christian Gaddy Eyestad.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Selby; brothers, James Gaddy and Bobby Gaddy; sister, Betty Lois Toney.

A graveside service conducted by the Rev. Roger Williams will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC, the family will visit briefly after the service in the cemetery.
