Mrs. Magline Locklear Williams, age 82, passed away, Friday, January 20, 2017, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, after an illness.
Born in Dillon County on, July 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ms. Lum Locklear and widow of the late Melvin Williams. She was a Machine operator with So-Pak-Co and later with MoHawk Carpet (Oak River Mills) where she retired. She was of the holiness faith and attended both the McColl and Bennettsville Church of God. She enjoyed her flowers, talking with her neighbors, and her dogs especially her Chihuahua “Duke”.
She is survived by her nieces; Devon Chavis, Danielle Turner, Kathy Locklear (Tony), Anita Caulder, Barbara Caulder, Barbara Springs, Linda Mauldin, Jessica Caulder; her nephew; Eddie Mauldin (Connie), Michael Mauldin, Leroy Caulder (Sheila), Nelson Caulder, Andy Hunt (Wendy), Derry Lowery (Becky), Phillip Jones (Jennifer), Leroy Caulder, Jr.; Her sister-in-laws; Rosa Mae Jones (Alton), Hariett Hammel (John), Bonnie Mauldin (Edward), Clementine Caulder.
She is preceded in death by her mother, husband listed above and her brother Leo Pete Caulder.
Funeral Services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Rogers Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Jones and the Rev. Donald Deal with burial at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
