Mr. Bobby Moore Stubbs, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Morehead City, NC, on June 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Chalmers William Stubbs and Wilma Parker Stubbs. He retired from textiles having worked with Springs Mills in the Springfield Community of Scotland County, NC and was of the Church of God Faith.

He was an avid football fan, and especially loved following the Clemson Tigers, the Carolina Panthers, and the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed fishing, watching WWE SmackDown wrestling, shooting pool, playing horseshoes, penny poker, and was a NASCAR fan with his favorite driver being Bill Elliott. He enjoyed shagging to oldies beach music and listening to classic country western music and southern gospel music. He loved Christmas and would shake the boxes under the tree with his name on it trying to guess what was inside.
