Mr. David Beverly Mas, age 55, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and under the tender care of Embrace Hospice.
Born in Bennettsville, SC, on February 19, 1961, he was the son of Gloria Price Mas and the late Charles Patrick Mas, Jr. He was a graduate of McColl High School and a member of Kingdom Life Church in Bennettsville where he enjoyed worshipping with his church family. He loved helping people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed going to yard sales and watching NFL Football, with his favorite team being the Washington Redskins.
David is survived by his precious mother of their home, Mrs. Gloria Price Mas; his biological father, James Luther Beverly, Sr. and his wife, Charlotte of Florida; brothers, Robert Beverly and friend, Tricia Williams of McColl, James Luther Beverly, Jr. of Italy and Daniel Beverly of Florida; sisters, Rose Starling and her fiance, Billy of Albemarle, NC and Annie Mas of McColl; nephews, Brad Mas and wife, Tish, Robert Lewis Beverly, Jr., James Matthew Hurley and Matthew Scott Beverly; nieces, Amanda Mas and husband, Jason and Stacey Hurley; a great nephew, Jason Pratt, Jr. and 2 great nieces, Zoe Rhodes and Shanti Mas; a special aunt, Patsy Ann Boykin of Bennettsville; and also by a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Kingdom Life World Outreach Ministries officiated by Dr. Eddie Pruitt.
