Ms. Brittany Sierra Megan Oxendine

Brittany Sierra Megan Oxendine, formerly of McColl, and more recently residing in Jacksonville, NC, died unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2016 at Onslow Memorial Hospital, also in Jacksonville.  She was 25 years old.

Brittany was born in Robeson County NC on the 15th of September, 1990 to Richard Lee Johnson and Latina Oxendine.  After graduating from high school she attended college and spent her short career doing secretarial work.

Brittany was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Ricky Lee Johnson. To cherish her memory she leaves behind two daughters, Savannah and Christa Oxendine; her father, Richard Lee Johnson and Crystal Ransom of McColl, SC and her mother, Latina Oxendine of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Chris Ransom and wife April of Ft. Bragg, NC and Ryan Lee Johnson of Northborough, MA; three sisters, Madalyn Johnson of McColl, SC, and twins Abigail and Samantha Cruz of Clinton, NC; her fiance’, Greggory B. Baker of Jacksonville, NC; her maternal grandmother, Edna “Tina Baby” Oliver; Aunts, Velissa Locklear and husband Gregory of Pembroke, NC and Valerie Ruonala of Myrtle Beach, SC; a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces; a special friend and caregiver, Ellen McPherson of Red Springs, NC as well as a host of friends and family.
