Timothy Lee Lockey passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC. He was 39 years old and was a resident of McColl.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Eastside Baptist Church in McColl with Rev. Brian Oxending officiating. Interment will follow at Rogers Cemetery, also in McColl. There will be a time of remembrance and visitation Wednesday evening, July 20, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 at Rogers Funeral Home.
Timothy was born on January 6th, 1977 to the late Wilbert L. Lockey and Patricia Ward Lockey in Marlboro County, SC. He was a welder by trade and worked for Ox Bodies in Bennettsville, SC. Timothy loved to hunt and fish and he loved to work in the yard. He and his high school sweetheart Rose, were married in 1996 and the greatest joy in his life was his family.
In addition to his father (1989) Timothy was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbert Edward Lockey (2002), and a nephew, Justin Matthew Lockey (2012).
To cherish his memory he leaves behind his wife, Rose Mary Seagraves Lockey of the home; two sons, Jessie Lee Lockey and fiance’ Logan Nicholson and Jacob Dillon Lockey, both of the home; a daughter, Jessica Nicole Lockey, also of the home; a sister, Tammy Ann Lockey of McColl; a grandson, Joseph Matthew Lockey of McColl; a niece, Jennifer Marie Lockey Blue and three nephews, Joshua Clayton Lockey, Samuel Dean Jacobs, Jr. and Gabriel Liston Jacobs and many other nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.
