Mr. Arthur Johnson, Jr. passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence after a brief illness. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Johnson was born in Marlboro County, SC on January 20, 1949 to the late Arthur O. and Louise Miller Johnson. He was an electrician. He enjoyed working, fishing, and spending time with family.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his; wife, Janie Johnson of McColl; sons, Troy Bennett of Myrtle Beach, SC, Richard Johnson (Nicole) of McColl, SC, Sammy Johnson of McColl, and Ted Johnson of Laurel Hill, NC; daughter, Theresa Locklear of Laurinburg, NC; brothers, Butch Johnson of McColl, SC and Ronnie Johnson of McColl, SC; sisters, Peggy Johnson and Betty Johnson both of McColl, SC; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brothers, Tommy Johnson, Randy Johnson, Bobby Johnson, and Ricky Johnson.

A memorial service will be held 11am Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Rogers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Glenn Valwrath.
