I am sorry about your loss. Please find comfort in the scriptures that God has provided to give us comfort through circumstances like this. At Revelation 21:3,4 we see that God will get rid of sickness, pain and death. Through Jesus, God promised that the meek would inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. Soon those who have died will have the prospect of being resurrected. Acts 24:15

James use to tell me he was starting a new weight loss plan out at the land . $5.00 to enter , you get a hoe and lose as much weight as you want walking up and down them long rows using that hoe . Ha, Ha. ✨🌟
He is missed at church playing that guitar and singing and praising the Lord.✝🙏🌟
May you rest in peace and give Dan the Man a big ole hug from Ayonna , Me, Donald, and all our family. We miss him and tell pooh hello too. Robert Blue and my little Brother Robert I never met yet . I miss y'all . We have to move on and keep the faith that we are gonna see them one day too. Tell Jesus We miss all y'all and thanks for giving us strength to go on and make a difference for him. 🙏✝🌴🌙we love you all to the moon and back and will be in Heaven one day too. Praise the lord. Until then shout around the thrown and sing one song for us all here at piney plains .

I will continue to pray for the Grooms family in the lost of their loved one. I will surely miss talking with Mr. James. His whole spirit would come alive when we would talk about God. There were so many things that he did that a lot of people probably never knew that was for the work of God and he truly loved it. It showed all over his face. I will miss talking about our Native Heritage which he truly loved. The times he would tell me about a new plant he was planting or wanted to get. Me and his brother William would just go on and on and would enjoy our talks so much. I will truly miss Mr. James and would like to say that he was a great man of God and one of our Great Native Elders that I have nothing but the upmost of respect for and he will always hold a special place in my heart. R.I.P. my brother !

I give all my love and condolences to The Grooms Family. James was like a father to me and he talked me the meaning of football and he didn't stop teaching there. He taught me about life and how to love and respect others. James was a great mentor to me and all the ones that he has touched. I will miss him and miss going to Grooms Tire and having him talk to me about the old days and continuing to ask me to come out to his church for preaching or revivals. I love you James Grooms and will miss you very much

Mr. James often spoke of how Blessed he was. He always had a nice word to speak to everyone that knew him. In all his conservations, he had something to say about God. I know he will be missed so much. To the family, I know that your hearts are crushed, but just know that God has gained another Angel. Even if you are expecting things to happen, it doesn't hit home until it's over. To All the family, Pray and ask God to help make you strong and give you endurance during this time of suffering and pain. The same God that Mr James spoke about also will help you all. No more suffering Mr James, you will be missed.

Geraldine and ALL THE GROOMS FAMILY, I cannot express in words how sorry I am about the loss of James. But I know he has entered into his heavenly home that he has spoke of so many times. When I would talk to him he would always put in our conversation how much he loved the LORD and how bless he was. James might have lost the fight with cancer but he won the war to make Heaven his home. I'm so thankful for this family and we will continue to pray for the comfort you need during this time.

Not once did I see James did he not tell me his testimonies and praise the Lord for everything he had! When y'all lost Charlotte, it was such a terrible tragedy to ALL of us!! But, they have seen each other again!! I'll never forget her, nor you, James! Sending you love and prayers now and the days to come! God Bless you All!!
