Mr. Earle Turner, Jr., 65, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Carolina’s Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Rogers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.  A Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Rogers Funeral Home.

Born, November 14, 1946, in Gibson, NC, he was the son of the late, Will and Sallie Williams Turner.  Mr. Turner was a carpenter until he retired.  He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his special friend, Debbie Leviner of the home; sons, David Brian Gibson and wife Sherry of McColl, and Timmy Turner of Florida; a daughter, Crystal Gwen and husband Thomas of Wallace; brother, Earnest Tuner of Dillon; sisters, Barbara Johnson of Kings Mountain, NC, Virginia Allen of McColl, and Nell Horn of Dillon.
