I am sorry about your loss. Please find comfort in the scriptures that God has provided to give us comfort through circumstances like this. At Revelation 21:3,4 we see that God will get rid of sickness, pain and death. Through Jesus, God promised that the meek would inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. Soon those who have died will have the prospect of being resurrected. Acts 24:15

This burial in a deep place by the Dead Sea likewise finds some parallel in Revelation’s description of the disposal of the opposers of God’s Kingdom by their being cast into the symbolic lake of fire, and by the abyssing of Satan.—

Wayne's passing underscores for us all the transitory nature of life. We are born, we live and we die. It is what we do in the middle segment of that mortal trilogy that counts. We create and shape new people, and along the way we have a lasting impact upon those with whom our lives intersect. We are thankful that our path crossed with Wayne's and we consider ourselves enriched as a result. He leaves behind an indelible legacy of four accomplished children and many friends. None of us dare ask for more than that. May the days ahead and the good wishes of all who knew him bring solace and peace to the family.

Wayne was a very good man, and fought a good fight. His children can be very proud of their dad. I wish them peace and consolation. They can have comfort in knowing that they provided the best care possible for him. God bless you all.
