Virginia Lewellen Clemons, age 78, passed peacefully on February 27, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greenboro, NC.
She was born on July 15, 1938 in McColl, SC ,daughter of the late Thomas and Ollie Lewellen.
Memorial Service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in McColl, SC, on March 4, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. officiated by Rev. Ann Everett.
She was employed by First Point Resources from 1973 until her retirement in 2001.
Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially loved going to the beach as often as possible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ollie Lewellen, as well as three brothers, Frankie,Roy, and Freddie Lewellen of McColl, SC and one sister, Margie Taylor of TX.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Holloway (Jim) and granddaughter, Jessika Holloway all of McLeansville, NC.
She also leaves behind on brother, Tommy Lewellen of McColl, SC, and three sisters, Dorothy Clark of McColl, Ruby Mitchell(Don) of MO, Julia Bearden (Paul) of MO, several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
