Ramie Lee “Buck” Hammonds passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his residence. Ramie was 47 years old.
Born in Bennettsville on January 11, 1970, Ramie was a son of Ruby Deloise Herring and the late Eddie Hammonds. He attended In God We Trust Ministries. He enjoyed watching old westerns and visiting with his friends and family. Ramie loved to talk and especially loved to make people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Frances Louise Rose; and step-father, Billy Bob Herring.
Ramie is survived by his mother; brothers, Charlie Arnold Hammonds (Lisa) of Fort Mill, SC, Joe Joe Herring of McColl, Eddie Allen Hammonds (Renee) of Bennettsville, Eddie Lee Hammonds of Whiteville, step-brother, Robbie Herring of Laurel Hill, NC; sisters, Tammy Renee Hammonds of McColl, Crystal Lynn Taylor (James) of Bennettsville, Michelle Wright (Timmy) of Cheraw, Molly Ann Cerino (Armando) of Alabama; and special friend, Kimberly Labonte.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the home of Crystal Lynn Taylor, 562 Mayberry Road, Bennettsville, SC, 29512. No further services have been scheduled.
