Allen Dale Heffner

Allen Dale Heffner passed away Sunday, November 27,2022, at his residence. He was 63 years old.

Born November 26,1959, in Laurinburg, NC, Allen was a son of Gwendolyn Heffner and the late James Heffner. Allen was a graduate of McColl High School and Northeastern Technical College and was a self-employed general contractor. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Allen enjoyed watching sports, helping people, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father listed above; brother, Dennis Heffner and infant brothers, Joseph and Ross Heffner.

He is survived by his mother listed above; children, Porshia Heffner (Mike), Aaron Heffner, Chloe Hammond, Beth Alford, and Bucky Alford; life partner and best friend, Odelia; grandchildren, Mikayla, Benjamin, Ma’Khila, and Michael; sisters, Susan Butler (Billy), Earlene French (Kenneth), and Shonna Heffner (Kendrick); brother, Bill Heffner; many nieces, nephews and friends; and special friends, Ray Grier, Mel Norris, Al Jordan, and Ralph Quick.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Eastside Baptist Church in McColl.

The family will receive friends just prior to the service at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
