Amelia Leshelle Locklear

McColl, SC Miss Amelia Leshelle Locklear, age 31, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, North Carolina.

Born July 5, 1989 in Laurinburg, North Carolina to Ray Anthony Locklear and Linda Chavis Locklear. Amelia was so full of life, she had a smile that would light up the room and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, swimming especially at the beach, her hair bows, watching Christmas movies but most of all she loved spending time with her dog “Casper”, friends and family.

Amelia leaves behind to cherish her memory, parents listed above; brother, Gavin Wayne Chavis of McColl; maternal grandparents; the late James Thomas and Eveleen Wilkins Chavis; paternal grandparents, Rebecca Bell; Earl Ray Locklear and spouse “Darlene”; aunt, Becky Scott “Ray”; Special aunts, Crissy Roller, Angela Murray and Yvette Strickland; uncles, Ron and Joshua Locklear; a host of cousins and her best friends, Ashley Pate and Kelly Outlaw.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Rogers Cemetery with Rev. Brian Oxendine and Rev. Donald Deal officiating.
