Arnell "Juice" Deese

Arnell Deese passed away suddenly Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home in McColl at the age of 29.  He will be missed by all those who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at the McColl Church of God on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. and will be officiated by the Rev. Donald Deal.  Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery in McColl.  There will be a time of visitation at the church Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00. 

Arnell was born in Robeson County, NC to Drayson Deese and Shirl Williams Spivey on September 11, 1986.  He loved doing auto body work at ABW of Florence and took great pride in straightening out other peoples’ messes.  When he wasn’t hunting or fishing he was spending time with his family, which he cherished dearly.  He was a great daddy and adored his children.

 This young man was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Purnell Deese and Annie Oxendine Deese and his maternal grandparents, Jesse James Williams and Naomi Deal Williams.

To cherish his memory he leaves behind his father, Drayson Deese and wife Heather of Rowland, NC; his mother Shirl Williams Spivey and husband Timothy of McColl; his wife, Shawnda Roller of Laurinburg; a son, Arnell Deese, Jr. of Laurinburg; two daughters, Kylee Rose Roller and Dray’cee Brionna Deese, both of Laurinburg; a brother, Drayson Dwayne Deese of Laurel Hill, NC, as well as too many friends and neighbors to mention.
