Beverly Kay (Granger) Quick

Laurinburg, NC

Beverly Kay Granger Quick, 62, of Laurinburg, NC passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 12, 1958 in Bennettsville, SC, youngest daughter of the late Gene Tunney and Sara Jo Bearden Granger. Beverly was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in McColl. She was a 1976 graduate of McColl High School. She was a dental assistant for many years, then became the owner and operator of Mama Bev’s on-line boutique. She enjoyed concerts, taking care of her chihuahua, Lucy, her cats, rescuing animals, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family & friends and most importantly her grandson, Jett.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and brother-in-law, Robert “Bobby” Jones.

Survivors include her sons, Dustin Quick and Dylan Quick both of Laurinburg, NC; a daughter, Alexis Polson (Jesse) of Autryville, NC; two sisters, Brenda Jones, Iris Granger and special sister Peggy Porter Springs (Jerry); a grandson, Jesse Lyn “Jett” Polson Jr.; two nieces, Mary Jo Gregory and Bobbie Jo Robertson; two nephews Jon Granger (Trisha) and Robert Jones, III; four great-nieces, Kelly Robertson, Sadie Robertson, Abigail Jones and Sara Granger; three great-nephews, Chapman Jones, Bobby Jones and Ethan Granger; and a great-great nephew, Asher Willis.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Rogers Cemetery of McColl, SC.

Memorials may be made to the Marlboro or Scotland County Humane Society, and Scotland Cancer Treatment Center. 

In accordance with Covid-19 health safety standards, those in attendance MUST wear facial coverings and abide by the social distancing guidelines.
