Brenson Sterling Chavis age 34, of McColl passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Brenson was born June 30, 1988 in Cheraw, SC, a son of Marilyn Chavis and the late Branson Thaddeus Jordan. He was a people person who enjoyed hanging with his friends. He enjoyed life and loved making people laugh. Brenson loved music and sports, especially basketball.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Cummings.

Brenson is survived by his mother, Marilyn Chavis of the home; sons, Brayden Mariana and Brenson Chavis, Jr; daughters, McKayla Britt, Kenzlee Williamson, and Brentley Shea Chavis; brothers, Raymond Floyd Brogle, Jr., and Brandon Mass; a sister, Courtney Danielle Jordan; maternal grandfather, LW Chavis; aunt, Annie Gray and uncle, Nathaniel Chavis.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the McColl Church of God at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service.
