Brian Daniel Barfield

Brian Daniel Barfield of Buffalo, NY and formerly of McColl, SC, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was 35 years old.

Born December 16, 1984, in Laurinburg, NC, Brian was the son of Stevie and Brenda Scott Barfield. Brian previously served in the US Army and was studying to be a Physical Therapist. He was of the Catholic faith and volunteered at many churches. He enjoyed assisting and participating in church activities. Brian was full of life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a beloved son and grandson, and his memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Scott, and cousins, Donna Lynn Scott, Kylie Emmanuel, and John Michael White.

He is survived by his parents listed above, paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucky Barfield, and other beloved family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Eastside Baptist Church in McColl, officiated by Rev. Roger Williams.

The family will receive friends just prior to the service at the church from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
