  Brother Robert E. (Bobby) Lee, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, February 26, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family, after an illness.

  Born in Bennettsville, SC, on May 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Howard Douglas Lee and Katherine Owens Lee. He attended the McColl Church of God and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired from Mohawk Industries as a Quality Control Inspector and was a former Income Tax Preparer. He was the Past Master of the Eureka Masonic Lodge #43 in McColl and was a past member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, watching T.V., spending precious time with his family, and playing golf.

    He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Sister Margalene Williams Lee of their home; by sons, Robert "Howard" Lee and his fiance, Margie Estrada of Rockingham, NC and Robert "Robbie" Lee and Terri Britt of Laurel Hill, NC; a daughter, Becky Barfield of Hamlet, NC; by brothers, Jimmy and Tracy Lee both of McColl; by sisters, Carol Hamilton of Laurinburg, NC and Barbara Lee (Robert) Radford of Rex, Ga.; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Revels, Christopher Lee, Harold Lee, Corey Lee, Mackie Barfield and T.J. Barfield; 3 great- grandchildren, Jolan Barfield, Hunter Mason Revels and Jordan Brigman; also by his special canine friend, "Little Bit."

     Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the McColl Church of God with burial following at Rogers Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Roy W. Puckett and Rev. Donald Deal will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the McColl Church of God.

     Mr. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents listed above; and by a brother, Harold Douglas Lee.
