Mrs. Catherine Scott Seagraves, 75 of McColl, SC passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her home. She was born April 18, 1948, in Lumberton, NC a daughter of the late Charlie Scott and Pearlie Mae Locklear Scott. Catherine enjoyed working in the garden, flowers, and loved cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Henry David Seagraves, Sr.; sisters, Martha Lee Manor, Juanita Scott, Mary Guinn, and Margie Locklear; grandsons, Justin Matthew Lockey and Ricky Creel, II; and son-in-law, Timothy Lockey.

Survivors include her son, Henry David Seagraves, Jr (Patricia) of Wallace; daughters, Charlotte S.C. Thomas of McColl, Rose Mary Lockey of McColl, Tammy S. Jacobs (Samuell, Sr.) of McColl; sisters, Shirley Phillips of Hamlet, NC, Lois Anderson (Warren) of Gibson, NC, Helen Kelly of Laurel Hill, NC, and Clavie Welch of Ohio; grandchildren, Veronica A. Creel, Samuell Jacobs Jr, Gabriel Jacobs, Joshua Lockey, Jennifer Blue, Jessie Lockey, Jessica Lockey (Caleb Jackson), Jacob Lockey, Brianna Jacobs, and Reanna Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Landon Jace Milligan, Gannon Chase Milligan, Mason Blue, Layla Blue, Issac Blue, Joseph Lockey, Noah Lockey, Timothy Lockey, Angel Jackson, Scarlett Lockey, Sofia Lockey, and Liam Lockey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home.

A burial will follow the service in Rogers Cemetery.
