Cindy Carol Graham Sunderland, age 55 of McColl, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 after an extended illness.

Cindy was born on October 31, 1967, in Bennettsville. She was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Quick Graham. Cindy enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She was always taking care of the kids in the neighborhood. She loved shopping and watching her grandkids play ball. Most of all, Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents,

Cindy was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph “JugHead” Graham, and a sister, Donna Sue Gause.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Thomas Sunderland of the home; sons, Phillip Graham, Thomas Sunderland, Jr., and Roger Sunderland, all of McColl; a brother, Tony Graham of McColl; sisters, Phyllis Lane of Santee, Cheryl Deal (Rev. Perry) of McColl, Myra Graham of Rockingham, NC, and Robin Graham of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Tara Graham, Alex Graham, Riley Graham, Serenity Graham, Brianna Sunderland, and Brantley Sunderland; great grandchildren, Scarlett Snow Fowler and Othell Fowler IV; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be announced in the coming days.
