Clara (Walden) Knight

Clara Walden Knight passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC after an illness. She was 64 years old.

Clara was born in Landstuhl, Germany on January 9, 1961, to the late Freddie Robert and Joyce Jones Walden. She attended Bristow Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Cafeteria Manager for Marlboro County School System. She enjoyed shopping, taking care of people, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; husband, Craig Knight; son, Brian Hardee (Jennifer); daughter, Carley Giddens (Robert); brothers, Robert Walden, Danny Walden (Tammy), and David Walden; sister, Janet Locklear (Jeffery); grandchildren, Devin Hardee, Blake Brigman, Layton Hardee, Kendyll Hardee, Zachary Hardee, Zaylee Hardee, Emma Blackwell, and Liam Outlaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Rogers Funeral Home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2-3 pm just prior to the service.
