Cristal Len (Lucy) Patterson

Maxton, NC

  Ms. Cristal  Len (Lucy) Patterson, age 40, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC, surrounded by her loving family after an illness.

  Lucy was born in Carrollton, Ga., on February 16, 1975, a daughter of Charles Calhoun Patterson and the late Dorothy Wiggins White. She attended the McColl Pentecostal Fire-Baptized Holiness Church and was employed in the textile industry. Lucy enjoyed playing video games with her children, and loved all children as though they were hers. She enjoyed cross stitching, taking family photos and dearly loved all her nieces and nephews.

    Lucy is survived by her sons,  Brandon Paul Jones of Greenwood, SC and Oliver Eugene Patterson of Maxton, NC; her father, Charles Calhoun Patterson of Clio; brothers, Raymond White and Julie of Hamlet, NC, Timothy White and Cierra of Greenwood, SC, Christopher Nicholson of Wagram, NC, Jefferey Wallace of McColl, Ricky White of McColl, and Steve and Nadia White of Michigan; sisters, Wessie Wiggins and Henry of Maxton, Michelle Nicholson of Tatum, Charlene and Mitch Graham of Maxton, NC and Margaret and Jay McMillan of Wagram, NC; also by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as other family members and friends; also by two very special friends, Steve Fields of Laurel Hill, NC and Ronnie (Turtle) Smith of Laurinburg, NC.
  
   Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the McColl Pentecostal Fire-Baptized Holiness Church, officiated by Pastor Glenn Vollrath. Burial will follow at the Beaverdam Cemetery in McColl. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8P.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home in McColl.

   Lucy was preceded in death by her mother listed above; and by brothers, Johnathan Eugene White and Charles Frazier Wiggins.
