David Harmon Joseph Johnson, Sr., 66, of Darlington, SC passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. He was born July 22, 1955 in Marlboro County, SC a son of the late Arthur O. Johnson and the late Mattie Louise Milligan Johnson. David loved his children, grandchildren, brothers, sister and just valued his family in general. David also loved being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mattie Johnson; two sons, David H. J. Johnson, Jr. and Keith V. Johnson; eight brothers, Thomas Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Jr., Randy Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Larry Johnson, Charles Johnson and Tim Johnson; and a sister, Lucy Jordan.

Survivors include his children, Terry Johnson (Elizabeth) of Darlington, Travis D. Johnson of Darlington, Trinity Johnson of Bennettsville and Tonya Gibson (Nathan) of Anderson; two brothers, Butch Johnson (Anna Lee) of McColl and Ronnie Johnson of McColl; two sisters, Peggy Hatcher of McColl and Betty Hunt of Wagram, NC; ten grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan), Terry Jr., Christopher (Jasmine), Emma Reese, Dakota, Nate Jr., Logan, Axel, Destiny and Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Christian.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.
