Mrs. Edna Earl Wiggins Hardee, 82 years old, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 after an extended illness.
Edna was born February 17, 1940, in Rains, SC to the late Floyd and Lena Martin Wiggins. She was a devoted Pastor’s wife who enjoyed going to gospel singings, loved people, going to the mountains, Cades Cove, collecting light houses but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Previously she attended McColl Church of God and Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Rev. Otto Hardee; daughter, Norma Hardee Saunders; brothers, Edward Wiggins, Milton Wiggins and sister, Lena Bell Wiggins.
Edna leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, John Daniel Hardee (Kathy) of Winston Salem, NC, Tillman Lanue Hardee of Goose Creek, SC; son-in-law, Steven Saunders of Pamplico, SC; Vanessa Hardee Johnson of New Bern, NC; brothers, Roland Wiggins (Patricia) of Summerville, SC; sisters, Bobbie Jordan and Ruby Scott of McColl; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Rogers Funeral Home and burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon, SC. A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral.
