Edna Norris “Tina Baby” Oliver, 79, of McColl, SC, daughter of the late Benjamin and Gladys Housand Norris, passed away on November 26, 2020 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, N.C.

Edna spent most of her career employed with Powell Manufacturing in Bennettsville and later retired as a dispatcher with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed being a grandmother, going to the beach and traveling. She was Elvis Presley’s number one fan and tried to buy everything she ever saw with his picture or name on it. Edna was a loving and kindhearted person to everyone she met but if she thought you needed to hear something she wouldn’t hesitate to tell you, whether it was right or wrong.

She is survived by four sons, James Lesley (Janet) of Blenheim, SC, Paul Lesley (Beverly) of Conway, SC, Michael Norris (Tracey) of Palm Coast, Fl, Richard Johnson of Turbeville, SC and special son, David Strickland (Althea) of Springhill TN; two daughters, Valerie Ruonala (Rick) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Velissa Locklear (Greg) of Pembroke, NC; brother James Norris (Delia) of Alexis, NC; sister, Mary Ann Roller of Bennettsville, SC; Aunt, Geraldine Norris Hall (Boots) of Flowery Branch, GA; twenty two grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; sisters, Eunice Neal and Betty Driggers; brother, Russell Williams; granddaughter, Brittany Locklear; great granddaughter, Mackenzie Gore.

A (PRIVATE) funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Rogers Funeral Home, with visitation just prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
