Mr. Ellie Boyd Skipper “Toby” passed away, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Morrison Manor. He was 84 years old.

Mr. Toby was born in Marlboro County, SC on May 18, 1936 to the late John Thelbert and Lillie Mae Grant Skipper. He was a member of the National Guard. He enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling, spending time with his family. He was a loving person who loved to pick and play.

He is survived by his; brother, James Howard Skipper (Hazel); sister, Lela Mae Milligan “Midge”; a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends; special caretakers, Gail Chavis, April Locklear, and Midge Milligan.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brother, John “Jr.” Thelbert Skipper, Jr.; sister, Edith Swartz.

A funeral service will be 4 pm, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Rogers Funeral home, officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson, with burial at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3-4 pm just prior to the service.
