Eunice Cope (Wright) Jacobs

Eunice Myers Cope Wright Jacobs, age 90 of McColl, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 10, 2023, at her residence.

Eunice was born on May 21, 1933, in Clio, SC. She was a daughter of the late James and Mary Ellen Williamson Cope. Eunice was a faithful member of United Christian Faith Holiness Church. She retired from J.P. Stevens 33 years of service. Eunice enjoyed cooking and baking. She also loved flowers and working in the yard. Most of all, Eunice loved spending time her family.

In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her husbands, Everette Wright and Clyde Jacobs; and all her siblings.

Eunice is survived by her daughters, Sandra Wright Brayboy (Willie) of McColl, Gloria Wright Bowman (Byron) of Carthage, NC, and Laura Wright Stewart (Larry) of Wagram, NC; grandchildren, Johnny Tew, Kim Tew Williamson, Philip Wright (Rachel), Amy Shelley (Heath), Joseph Stewart, and Angie Stewart Odom (Jody); 13 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; a nephew, Wade Garland Barber (Peggy) of High Point, NC; several other extended family members also survive.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home.
