Faye Carolyn Cutchin

Faye Carolyn Cutchin, 87, of McColl, SC passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1934 in McColl, SC a daughter of the late Thaddeus Eric Cutchin and the late Lula Belle Cheek Cutchin. Faye was a member of McColl Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved playing Farmville, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Faye also enjoyed talking on the phone, eating fried pork chops and taking care of others.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thaddeus Eric and Lula Belle Cutchin; four brothers, T.E., Walter, Davis and Bobby; a granddaughter, Rachael Lynn Cutchin; six sisters, Rachel, Emma Jean, Ruth, Nancy, Etta Martha and Elizabeth.

Survivors include her children, Eric “Monty” Cutchin of McColl, Kenneth Cutchin (Kathy) of Colorado, Becky Martin (Angie Wallace) of Laurinburg, NC and Sharon Sweatt (Robert) of McColl; a brother, Dennis Cutchin (Barbara) of Mooresville, NC; a sister, Julia Reynolds of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Jessica Martin (Brett Hicks), Devin Martin, Shana Ellifrits (Jimmy), Charles Sweatt, Cameron Cutchin and Nathan Cutchin; thirteen great-grandchildren, Michael Hicks, Maxine Hicks, Austin Brown, Dalton Ellifrits, Morgan Ellifrits (Micheal), Austin Ellifrits (Bre), Madison Ellifrits (Bru), Zeth Sweatt, Myla Sweatt, Griffin Norris (Kimbrielle), Carter Norris, Mason Norris and Grier Norris; five great-great-grandchildren; and two special friends, Lois Sweatt and Bobbie Jordan.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Rogers Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
