Florence Irene (Barnes) Rabon

Mrs. Florence Irene Barnes Rabon, 70 years old, passed away at her residence in Conway, SC.

Mrs. Florence was born October 24, 1948 in Harrison, Texas to the late William Barry and Marie Catherine Schuchman Barnes. She was married to the late Aubry Worth Rabon, Sr. and was a retired owner of the Carriage House restaurant where she created the Bulldog Burger. She was a member of White Savannah Free Will Baptist Church, where she was the President of the Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. Florence enjoyed gardening, baking, Facebook, Pinterest but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Aubry Worth Rabon, Jr, (Robin) of Conway; a daughter, Shawna Rabon Bullard (Chris) of Conway; brothers, Larry Barnes, Michael Barnes and Joe Barnes; grandchildren, Ashley Rabon, Bradley Rabon, Tiffany Rabon, Will Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Megan Murphy, Bucky Alford, Tyler Bullard and Hunter Bullard; great grandchildren, Rylan, Ella- Kate, Mason, Kaydance, Stella and Liam.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above. Brothers, William and Alvin Barnes; sisters, Geraldine Barnes and Abigail Barnes.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday August 7, 2019 at White Savannah Freewill Baptist Church 4010 State Hwy 65, Conway, SC. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery, in McColl, SC. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at White Savannah Freewill Baptist Church prior to the service.
