Helen Bowen Skipper of McColl, S.C. passed away peacefully on October 7, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rufus Skipper, father, Tom Bowen; mother, Etta Oxendine

Bowen; brothers, Albert, Alfred and Clemson Bowen; and sisters Edith Bowen, Annie Ruth Hunt and

Hazel Locklear.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Gordon Jennings Bowen of Laurinburg, N.C.; son

Rufus T. Skipper of McColl, S.C.; and daughter Millisia S. Gardner of Manassas, VA; 5 grandchildren,

6 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 to celebrate her memory at Rogers Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of McColl, S.C.
