Howard Christopher “Chris” Strickland passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at his residence. He was 49 years old.
Born September 2, 1973, Chris was the son of the late Howard Strickland and Barbara Nash Flowers. He was previously self-employed as an automotive paint and body repair man. Chris enjoyed sports, cars, and music and dearly loved (and missed) his mother and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Christian Nicole Russell.
Chris is survived by his wife, Anita Beach Strickland of McColl; son, Christopher Harrison Strickland of McColl; daughters, Lexus Briana Strickland of McColl, Sierra Strickland of McColl, and Angelic Strickland of Phoenix; sisters, Anita Strickland of McColl and Amanda Peele (James) of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Mila Ka’lisa Nicole Strickland, Kaison Neil Topper Strickland, Heaven Strickland, Tindal Brogle, Promise Pickens, Isla Manning, Kensley Dial, Brielle Strickland, Haisley Clark, and Oliver Pickens Jr.
