Mrs. Jacquette Devear McAllister Thompson Dubovsky passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC after a brief illness. She was 92 years old.

Mrs. Jacquette was born in Gastonia, NC on October 17, 1926 to the late William L. and Mattie Rocket McAllister. She was a member of McColl Church of God. She loved her Lord and was a warrior for Christ for over 60 years, and she loved spending time with her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; son, Donnie Thompson and wife Anna of New Port, NC.; daughter, Helen M. Gilpin and husband Harry of Orange Park FL.; brother, Paris L. McAllister of Rockport, MS; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jacquette was preceded in death by her parents listed above; 1st husband, James Junior Thompson; 2nd husband, Julian Dubovsky; daughter, Patricia Hicks; sons, William Bruce Thompson and Jimmy Thompson.

A funeral service will be held 3pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the McColl Church of God, with Burial at Rogers Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Dr. Roy Puckett, Rev. Donald Deal. A visitation will be held from 2-3 pm just prior to the service at the church.
