James "Buddy" Reedy Clark

James Reedy “Buddy” Clark, 87, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at McLeod Health Cheraw.

Born September 13, 1932 in Clio, SC, he was a son of the late Vander and Lula Mae Turner Clark. He was a retired self-employed mechanic, he also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his son, Timmy Ray Sampson of Clio; daughters, Nancy Clark Modlin of Summerville and Patricia Clark Evans of Clio; brothers, Vander Clark, Jr. of Fernandina Beach, Fl and Jimmy Clark (Margaret) of Clio; sisters, Mary Livingston of Red Springs, NC, Betty Young Walters (Will) of McColl, Barbara Clark of McColl, Macy Cummings (Randy) of McColl, and Ruby Stubbs of McColl; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

James was preceded in death by his parents listed above, sons, Prentiss Clark, Chris Sampson, Floyd Clark; sister, Martha Giddins; brother, Carson Clark; grandson, Danny Clark.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Rogers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 1 – 2 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
