Jeffery Ray Morgan, age 61 of McColl passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Jeffery was born March 22, 1961 in Lumberton, NC. He was a son of the late Stancil Morgan and Virginia Strickland Biggers. Jeffery worked for over 21 years at Geddie’s Carpet in McColl. He attended the McColl Church of God. Jeffery enjoyed yard work, model cars, refurbishing old furniture, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents listed above, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy Morgan.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Shelvie Morgan of the home; sons, Jeffery Wayne Morgan (Holly) and Tyler Ray Morgan, both of McColl; sisters, Janice Bell (Willie) and Cathy Smith, both of Lumberton; a grandchild, Jordan Wayne Morgan; several extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the McColl Church of God. Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the McColl Church of God.
