Mrs. Julie Allen Mumford passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC after a brief illness. She was 56 years old.

Julie was born on in Marlboro County, SC on June 27, 1964 to the late Walter and Virginia Turner Allen. She was a member of McColl Church of God. She worked for Nic’s in McColl as a cook. She enjoyed sitting outside, watching Tv, and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; daughter, Linsey Perkins-Grooms; brothers, Ken Allen and wife Beth, Danny Allen, and Walter Allen; sister, Linda Parker; special friends, Nathan Milligan and Kenneth Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; sister, Peggy Eastwood; brother, Clarence “BO’ Allen.

A funeral service will be held 11am March 29, 2021 at Rogers Funeral, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal, with burial at Rogers Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside after the service.
