Katherine Louise (Smith) Grice

Mrs. Katherine Louise Smith Grice passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence in McColl.

She was 87 years old. Born in Lee County on September 28, 1932, Katherine was the daughter of Weldon And Elizabeth Boone Smith. She retired from Hanes Hosiery in Bennettsville and was a member of McColl Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Katherine loved to fish and play Bingo, and she dearly loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; brother, Jerome Smith, and nephew, J.E. Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, brothers, Edward Weldon Smith of McColl and Mitchell Lee Smith (Linda) of Michigan, and other beloved family members and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Rogers Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal.
