McColl, SC
Keylen Chase Oxendine passed away, Monday, January 22, 2024, at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, after an illness. He was 11 years old.
Keylen was born at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC, on February 9, 2012, to Anthony Lee and Reba Danielle Wiggins Oxendine. He attended McColl Church of God, were he enjoyed going , and was a 6th grader at McColl Elementary Middle School. He enjoyed going to church at McColl Church of God, playing on phones, tablets, dinosaurs, animals, and collecting things. He loved going to the Great Wolf Lodge, the Zoo, and spending time with his brothers, who were his best friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his parents, Anthony and Reba Oxendine; brothers, Dristen Oxendine and Leighton Oxendine; grandparents, Merrill and Sandy Locklear and Mary Ann Grant and Terry Oxendine.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Violet Wiggins.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, January 26, 2024, at McColl Church of God, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal, with burial at Rogers Cemetery in McColl. The family will receive friend from 6-8pm, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at McColl Church of God.
