Leroy Chavis

Leroy Chavis, 71, of Little Rock, SC passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Laurinburg, NC after an illness. He was born January 3, 1950 in Dillon, SC a son of the late Reedy Chavis and Rosa Lee Thompson Chavis. Leroy attended Pee Dee Chapel.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reedy and Rosa Lee Chavis; a brother, Daniel Chavis; and a sister, Shirley Oxendine.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Wayne Locklear-Chavis of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Dennis Chavis of Dillon, SC and Lawrence Chavis of McColl, SC; sisters, Carolyn Chavis of Dillon, SC; Frances Driggers of McColl, SC; Virginia Brisson of Elizabethtown, NC; and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home.
