Linda Gail Jones Martian, 71, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 5, 1948, in McColl, SC, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Clara Crowley Jones. She was an employee with SOPAKCO of Bennettsville for 33 years and retired in 2014. She attended First Freewill Baptist Church in McColl, where she attended until her health declined. Mrs. Linda enjoyed spending time with her cat Patches, watching Hallmark movies, cooking, baking and watching her favorite show Gunsmoke. She will be remembered forever, as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Martian of McColl, Teresa Douglas (Jesse) of Bennettsville; sisters, Geraldine Moore (Carroll), Vickie Crump all of Concord, NC and Muriel Outlaw of McColl; brother, Jimmy Jones (Linda) Jones of Bennettsville; grandson, Johnathan Martian-Jordan; granddaughter, Cassidy Jones; great grandchild, Jerome Martian-Jordan.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Jerome Martian, Sr.; son, Jerome Joseph Martian, Jr.; brothers, William Jones, James Vernon “Tinker” Jones, Jerry Wayne Jones, Sr.; sisters, Sylvia Murphy, Vivian Elizabeth Benton and Joyce Janet Jones Walden.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Rogers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service at Rogers Funeral Home.
