Martha (Ransom) Leviner

Mrs. Martha Ransom Leviner departed this world for her heavenly home on Friday, November 06, 2015 at the age of 66.  She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at Living Water Church of God in Laurinburg, NC on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. and will officiated by Pastor Steve Adams.  Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery in McColl.  A time of visitation and remembrance will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home in McColl from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Leviner was born August 11, 1949 to the late Arch Ransom and the late Minnie Strong Ransom in Marlboro County, SC.  During her working years she was employed at Delta for a short while but spent most of her career as a photo lab technician. She loved spending time with her family and friends but the light in her eyes was her three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Leviner was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Locklear Radford.

To carry on her memories she leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Glen “Buddy” Leviner, of the home; a son, Thomas “Tommy” Oxendine and his wife Penny of McColl; a brother, Tim Ransom of McColl; a sister, Minnie Sue “Pat” Locklear of McColl; three grandchildren, Leigh Oxendine, Carrie Oxendine, and Chloe Oxendine, as well as a host of friends, neighbors, and loved ones.

The family would like to send a special blessing to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Scotland County for the love and care given to their family during these difficult times. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Martha Leviner’s name may be made to Hospice of Scotland County at 610 Lauchwood Dr. in Laurinburg, NC 28352.
