Mary Parrish Hurley, 87, passed away, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Dundee Manor in Bennettsville, surrounded by members of her family.
Born December 6, 1931 in Gibson, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lacy and Lydia Gibson Parrish. Mrs. Hurley was a 1950 graduate of McColl High School and was a retired self-employed cab driver. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, being outside, talking to others, watching soap operas, reading magazines and then giving them to Kelly and Kim.
She is survived by her sons, Robin Timothy Hurley, Sr. (Debby) of McColl, Rusty Parrish ( Tammy) of Bennettsville, Terry Hurley (Cathy) of Owings, MD; daughter, Holly Fowler (Frank) of Kentucky; sister, Lollie Ray of Florida; grandchildren, Robbie Hurley, Kelly Pruitt ( Lee), Taylor Parrish, Josh and Jason Hurley; great-grandchildren, Sam Pruitt, McKayla Pruitt, Mallory Faulkenberry, Christina Eastburn, Colt and Hunter Albritton; and a great-great granddaughter, Kinleigh Frances Sheppard.
Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, William Maxie Hurley; brother, Brantley Parrish; granddaughters, Kimberly Ann Hurley and Melissa Carol Parrish.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Rogers Funeral Home, with burial following in Rogers Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
