Michael Chalmers Pruitt, 51, passed away on November 1, 2024.

Born April 13, 1973, in Laurinburg, NC, he was a son of the late Wanda Stubbs Brown. Michael enjoyed fishing, playing games on his phone, shooting pool, basketball and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his son, Johnathan Freeman (Kaci Morlang) of Bennettsville, brothers, Charles “Chucky” Pruitt (Lil Tucker) of McColl and Jason Pruitt (Nicki) of Jacksonville, Fl, 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, stepfather, Craig Brown, sister, Tammy Pruitt, and Niece, Christy Labonte.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Rogers Funeral Home.
