Patricia Joan Rivers Brigman, 67, went home to be with the Lord on January 14th at Mcleod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC after a brief illness.
Pat was born on November 27th, 1953, five minutes before her twin sister in Bennettsville, SC to the late Bradley Homer Rivers and Bernice Brock Rivers. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and member of the McColl Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pat enjoyed taking care of her flowers, gardening, traveling, boat rides, and most of all time spent with her family. She attended Chesterfield Senior High School and graduated with honors in May of 1972. She also attended Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical College where she received her associates degree in arts. She worked at Campbell Soup for 35 years and retired May of 2019. She absolutely loved her Campbell Soup family and spoke of them often.
Pat was the rock of her family and loved them unconditionally. She touched many lives with her passion for life and her laughter. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and always joyful. She had the most loving heart and will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Malcolm Brigman Jr. of Clio, son Malcolm Thad Brigman III (Michelle) of Bennettsville, son Bradley George Brigman, her twin sister Anita Ansell (Charlie), her 7 grandchildren Amber, Bradley Jr., Mayleah Brylee, Chloe, Rylan, Ellie, and Josie Brigman, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents listed above, infant daughter Kathryn Brigman, and younger brother Preston Rivers.
A graveside service will be held on January 17, 2021 at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC at 2pm, officiated by Pastors Billy Storms and DJ Byrd.
