Mrs. Pattie Jo Locklear passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her residence after a brief illness.

Mrs. Pattie was born in Bennettsville on November 5, 1953 to Willie Robert and Mary Etta Clark Locklear. She was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. She was a Machine Operator for Essex Wire and Delta Mills. She enjoyed fishing, studying and reading her Bible, playing her guitar and singing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandson, and her K-9 companion, Sissy.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; son, Richard Lee Moore (Linda Marie) of McColl, SC; daughter, Rosetta Nicole Dew of Longs, SC; brothers, James David Locklear of Clio, SC, Hugh Douglas Locklear of Tatum, SC, and John Randall Locklear of Clio, SC; sister, Cathy Freeman (Mitchell) of Wallace, SC, and Emma Heffner of Clio, SC; grandchildren, Sara Nicole Dew, David Patrick Dew, Allan Michael Moore; great grandson, Nathaniel Todd Dew.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; grandson, Caleb Shane Moore; brother, Willie Robert Locklear, Jr; sister, Jerri Lynn Olva.

A graveside service will be held 2pm, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12pm – 1:45 pm in the church before the service.
