Peggy Lee (Lockey) Jackson

Mrs. Peggy Lee Lockey Jackson passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC after an illness. She was 81 years old.

Peggy was born in McColl, SC on August 12, 1940, to the late Grover Lockey and Eunice Irene Crowley. She was a Sales Associate with BC Moore’s. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She loved to work in the garden, read, talk, feed stray cats, animals, and spending time with family.

She is survived her daughters Melody Jackson (Douglas) and April McCall (Steve).

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, her husband James Alton Jackson, sisters Sarah McCoy and Helen Louise Roberson.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, at Rogers Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00PM with a funeral service starting 3:00PM. Burial will follow the service at Beaver Dam Cemetery.
